Overcoming Anxiety

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, nervousness, excessive uneasiness, apprehension and may lead to panic attacks and depression. It may be accompanied by compulsive behavior in the hopes of easing anxiety. It may be a chronic state of being or situational.

The causes of anxiety are highly personal and varied. Some general reasons for anxiety may be an inability to cope with reality or undesirable outcome, living a lie – from fear of judgment, stress from school, work, relationships, money, health, performance, unresolved emotional trauma or grief, side effect of certain medications, fear of the future, usage of drugs and alcohol. What’s most important is how we handle it.
